Terms and conditions

Last updated: June 2026  ·  Kaenetics (trading under Beyond Wellness) · Singapore

These terms apply to all clients engaging Kaenetics for movement coaching, strength and conditioning, rehabilitation support, swim coaching, or any associated service. By making payment or commencing sessions, you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

01

About Kaenetics

Kaenetics is a movement specialist and coaching service operating in Singapore. Services are provided by Kae Koh, a Movement Specialist and Strength Coach. Kaenetics is not a medical provider, hospital, or physiotherapy clinic. Sessions do not constitute medical diagnosis, physiotherapy treatment, or medical advice.

02

Scope of service

Kaenetics provides movement assessment and retraining, strength and conditioning coaching, post-rehabilitation movement coaching (following physiotherapy discharge or with physiotherapist clearance), Olympic weightlifting coaching, swim stroke coaching and correction, and general wellness coaching.

Services are coaching in nature. They complement but do not replace medical care, physiotherapy, or the advice of a licensed healthcare professional. If you are under active medical or physiotherapy care, you are responsible for obtaining appropriate clearance before commencing or resuming sessions with Kaenetics.

03

Health declaration and medical clearance

3.1 Disclosure of health information

You are required to disclose all relevant pre-existing conditions, injuries, surgeries, medications, and health history prior to your first session. This includes but is not limited to: cardiovascular conditions, neurological conditions, musculoskeletal injuries, chronic pain, respiratory conditions, pregnancy, and any condition that may affect your ability to exercise safely.

3.2 Ongoing disclosure

You are responsible for informing Kaenetics of any changes to your health, new injuries, medication changes, or new diagnoses that occur during the engagement.

3.3 Limitation of liability for non-disclosure

Kaenetics accepts no liability for adverse outcomes, injury, or aggravation of existing conditions where relevant health information was not disclosed prior to the session in which the outcome occurred.

3.4 Right to request clearance

Kaenetics reserves the right to request written medical or physiotherapy clearance before commencing or continuing sessions if there are reasonable grounds to believe that doing so is in the client’s safety interest.

04

Assumption of risk

Physical training, movement coaching, and rehabilitation support involve inherent risks, including the possibility of physical injury. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in sessions conducted by Kaenetics, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Kaenetics will take all reasonable precautions to manage risk within the scope of professional coaching practice. This does not eliminate risk entirely.

05

Payment terms

5.1 Payment in advance

All packages and single sessions must be paid in full before sessions commence. Kaenetics does not hold session slots without confirmed, cleared payment.

5.2 Accepted methods

Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking.

5.3 No cash refunds

Once a package is purchased, payment is non-refundable. Unused sessions within an active package may be carried forward subject to the expiry terms in Clause 6. Sessions are not redeemable for cash.

5.4 Pricing

Kaenetics reserves the right to revise session and package pricing. Pricing changes do not apply retroactively to packages already purchased.

06

Package expiry policy

6.1 Expiry formula

All session packages carry an expiry date calculated as follows:

Expiry date = Commencement date + (number of sessions ÷ 1.5) weeks

The commencement date is the date of the first session conducted under that package.

Examples
A 12-session package commencing 1 July expires 8 weeks later, on 26 August (12 ÷ 1.5 = 8 weeks).
A 10-session package commencing 1 July expires approximately 6 weeks and 5 days later (10 ÷ 1.5 ≈ 47 days).

6.2 Forfeiture of unused sessions

Any sessions remaining unused at the expiry date are forfeited without refund. No extensions are granted unless Clause 6.3 applies.

6.3 Extension for medical reasons

A package extension may be granted at Kaenetics’ sole discretion where the client is unable to attend sessions due to a documented medical condition or injury. A written request and supporting documentation (e.g. medical certificate or letter from a healthcare provider) must be submitted before the original expiry date. Extensions are not automatic.

6.4 Package suspension

Kaenetics does not offer general package suspensions or pauses outside of the medical circumstance described in Clause 6.3.

07

Cancellation and rescheduling

7.1 Minimum notice required

All session cancellations and reschedule requests must be submitted at least 24 hours before the scheduled session start time.

7.2 Late cancellation

Any cancellation received less than 24 hours before the scheduled session start time will result in that session being marked as forfeited. The session is deducted from the package and no makeup session, credit, or refund is provided.

7.3 No-shows

Failure to attend a scheduled session without any prior notice is treated as a forfeited session under the same terms as a late cancellation.

7.4 How to cancel or reschedule

All cancellations and reschedule requests must be submitted via WhatsApp or the agreed communication channel directly to Kaenetics. Requests sent through third parties or other channels may not be processed in time and will not exempt the client from the late cancellation policy.

7.5 Cancellations by Kaenetics

If Kaenetics cancels a session, it will be rescheduled at a mutually agreed time at no penalty to the client. The session remains credited to the package.

08

Late arrival

Session time is not extended for late arrival. Sessions will begin and end at the scheduled time regardless of when the client arrives. Late arrival is treated as a normal session and deducted from the package accordingly.

09

Session conduct and professional boundaries

9.1 Safe and respectful environment

Kaenetics reserves the right to modify, pause, or terminate any session where, in the professional judgment of the coach, continuing would pose a risk to the client’s safety or wellbeing. This includes presenting with illness, signs of overexertion, undisclosed injury, or other conditions that contraindicate continuation.

9.2 Conduct

Kaenetics reserves the right to terminate a session — and suspend or end the coaching engagement — if a client’s conduct is abusive, threatening, or otherwise undermines the professional environment. No refund will be provided for sessions terminated on conduct grounds.

9.3 Alcohol and substances

Clients must not attend sessions while under the influence of alcohol or performance-altering substances. Sessions under these circumstances will be terminated and the session forfeited.

10

Intellectual property

10.1 Ownership of coaching materials

All training programmes, session plans, assessments, protocols, frameworks, educational content, and methodologies developed and delivered by Kaenetics remain the sole intellectual property of Kaenetics.

10.2 Restriction on use

Clients may use programming and guidance provided for their own personal training. They may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or share Kaenetics’ materials — in part or in full — for any commercial purpose or to train third parties without prior written permission.

10.3 No extraction of methodology

The exchange of coaching services does not constitute a transfer of professional methodology. Clients may not use sessions as a basis for replicating Kaenetics’ approach within their organisation or practice without a separate written agreement.

11

Photography, video, and content

11.1 Client consent

Kaenetics may capture photographs or video footage during sessions for professional development, portfolio, or marketing purposes only with your explicit prior consent.

11.2 Withdrawal of consent

Consent may be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal does not affect any prior legitimate use of content captured while consent was active.

11.3 Client-captured content

If you record or photograph sessions for your own personal use, you agree not to publish footage that identifies Kaenetics’ proprietary methodology, training environment, or other clients.

12

Personal data protection

12.1 Collection and use of personal data

Kaenetics collects and stores personal data including your name, contact details, health information, and session records solely for the purpose of delivering coaching services, maintaining client safety records, and communicating with you about your programme.

12.2 PDPA compliance

Kaenetics is committed to compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (Singapore). Your personal data will not be sold, shared, or disclosed to third parties except where required by law or where necessary for the delivery of your coaching (e.g. referral communication with a physiotherapist or healthcare provider, with your consent).

12.3 Data access and correction

You may request access to, or correction of, your personal data held by Kaenetics at any time by contacting us directly.

13

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted under Singapore law, Kaenetics’ total liability to any client for any claim arising from or relating to coaching services shall not exceed the value of unused sessions remaining in the client’s current package at the time the claim arises.

Kaenetics is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses including loss of income, loss of opportunity, or losses arising from third-party conditions or events beyond the control of Kaenetics.

14

Force majeure

Kaenetics shall not be in breach of these terms where sessions cannot be conducted due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: public health directives, government-mandated restrictions, venue closures, extreme weather, or declared national emergencies. Affected sessions will be rescheduled at no penalty to either party, or package expiry timelines adjusted accordingly.

15

Modifications to these terms

Kaenetics reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be published at gobeyondwellness.org and clients will be notified of material changes. Continued engagement after the effective date of any revision constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

16

Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
