Unlike many, I didn’t have the advantage of professional coaching in my early sporting years. It wasn’t until my mid-20s that I had the privilege of learning from remarkable mentors who transformed my understanding of movement and performance. Senior Fitness Instructor Mr. Chan instilled in me the importance of precision and discipline, while Coach Cheng Qiang guided me to open water/triathlon swimming and master age group level competitive swimming. In the ripe young age of 37 years old, I discovered Olympic weightlifting and learnt and train under Singapore based China National Weightlifting Team counterpart, Coach Wu Chuan Fu. Currently I am training under the inspirational China’s Olympic Silver Medalist, Coach Wu Jing Biao. Learning never stops and I firmly believe that as a coach, we should stay open minded and continually expose ourselves to new methodology so we can be better equipped for our professional impact on our clients.
More than anything, these transformative experiences inspired the foundation of Kaenetics, Beyond Wellness. Here, I strive to help others embrace intentional movement, smart training, and a growth-focused mindset to unlock a balanced life of vitality and wellness. Together, we can redefine what’s possible—your journey starts today.
